I recently had the pleasure of working with a model and all around dope person- Jessica Motes. I conducted my first interview in the Real Women section with her and am very pleased with the outcome. Welcome to Real Women, Jessica. Check out her interview below.
1. Hometown?:
Born and raised in gorgeous Miami, Fl., on September 23rd, which would make me a Libra.
My background is Cuban, but I’m not so sure how I came out with freckles, red hair and light eyes… haha!
2. Favorite Food?:
I love sushi but my weakness has to be sweets, I’m actually starting up a pastry company with my best friend, so be sure to keep an eye out for it. I have a love for baking and seeing people enjoy the pastries I make, brings a smile to my face.
3. Favorite Miami place, club/bar or event?:
I’m a huge fan of Art Basal in Miami, and have such an appreciation for art. One of my all time favorite artist is Salvador Dali. WMC is also such an outstanding event in Miami, bring so many people together for the love of music, the energy is unbelievable!
4. How long have you been modeling and where are you currently working?
I’ve been modeling since I was 13! I was signed recently with Wilhelmina, which was a great experience. I’ve been very fortunate and grateful in my career, it has allowed me to meet and work with amazing people and travel to some gorgeous places around the world.
